Water and Wastewater Company of Khorasan Razavi Province provides services in the fields of water distribution for indoor, public, industrial, and commercial consumption and collection, refining and hygienic disposal of wastewater within a service driven frame. This company in accordance with the 20-year Vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the articles of association of of  the company and on the line of promoting management systems through the establishment of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and using ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System), and OHSAS 18001: (Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Services) standards is covering Mashhad and 69 other cities with a population over 1800000 people and provides the drinking water necessary for more than 507278 by the use of 433 water wells, springs, and canats and distribute it using 1418 km of transmission and a 4771 km network.
